neon-wallflower replied to your post: Do you feel statistics is relevant to your studying in medical school? I ask as I plow through my own statistics homework and reviews. Haha.
is taking regular statistics okay or is it better to take biostatistics?
Hi there, neon-wallflower!
I took regular statistics but I think any exposure to stats in undergrad is a plus! Epidemiology and biostatistics have some differences (for example, they view p-value quite differently.) but ultimately, having a little stat before med school or ANY science graduate work is beneficial. Statistics is pervasive, and knowledge of it will only benefit you!
