Thanks for posting! I’d actually go as far as to say the majority of the Caribbean schools are the same. Now if you were going to Mexico or Cuba or Venezuela or something, that’d be another story!
Oooh, good to know! Agreed 100%, about the other schools too, blacknoise0410

Addendum to Caribbean med school Q Part 2!
tropicalflaquita replied to your post: What do you think about Carribean Medical Schools? Is it worth the investment?
I don’t go to med school, but I live in the Caribbean. I know one particular school boasts that there is early exposure to patients, because the hospital allows even the first years to come in and observe and maybe administer basic health checks
Ohhh! I love early patient...

Addendum to Caribbean med school Q Part 1!
blacknoise0410 replied to your post: What do you think about Carribean Medical Schools? Is it worth the investment?
The “Knowledge of Spanish” part doesn’t always apply. I’m a 3rd year at SGU and my work environments in Grenada were English-only (it’s an English-speaking island). I’ve needed more Spanish in my clinical rotations in Brooklyn than ever in Grenada.
Awesome info and a big thank...

Welll… it DOES say “Mothers, tell your children not to do as I have done”, so — it has a good message? :)

As a humorous slide at the end of our male reproductive anatomy lecture, we all had a good laugh out of this one, especially after the dense and draining material of neuroanatomy of the previous week. It is a little low brow perhaps, but amusing.
